At the heart of her beloved homeland, Palestine, Mai found the
calling that led her to launch Falasteen Beauty. Fueled by her deep
rooted passion for skincare and childhood memories of the annual
olive harvesting season Mawsem Qatf Al Zaytoun — where families
gather to harvest olives and celebrate their shared heritage —
Mai laid the foundation for the story of Falasteen Beauty.

Growing up immersed in Palestine's natural treasures and the
ancestral beauty secrets passed down through generations, Mai
was inspired to create a skincare line that aligns with her values
and honors her roots. Her vision was to create high-end, ethical
skincare for women who value quality and natural ingredients while
supporting a meaningful cause— with every purchase helping
replant olive trees destroyed by occupation.

Every product is crafted with love and infused with 24-karat gold,
which holds a deep emotional and cultural value as a timeless symbol
of beauty, luxury, and pride in Palestinian culture and is often gifted in
wedding traditions to the Palestinian bride as part of her maher (dowry).
